Venue: Add/Edit/Delete Spaces
Spaces represent the individual rooms or areas within your venue. In Sho-Soft, you can add new spaces, edit existing ones, or create sub-spaces for more detailed event management.
How to Access Spaces
- On the top toolbar, click the Venue button.
- Select Spaces from the dropdown.

- The Spaces page will open, showing existing spaces in chart form.
Two Ways to Add a Space:
1. Through the Pop-Up Window
- Click the yellow Add Space button (top right corner).

- Enter details:
- Name of the space
- Optional: Upload an image
- Size and capacity
- Choose if this is a sub-space (when a space has multiple distinct areas).
- If sub-space: select the parent space it belongs to.
- Optional: Add notes.

- Name of the space
- Click Create Space.
- The new space will appear in the Spaces chart.
2. Directly in the Chart
- At the bottom of the chart, click Add Space or use keyboard shortcut Shift + Enter.

- A blank row will appear:
- Enter the space name.
- Optional: Select a parent space (if sub-space).
- Enter size and capacity.
- Optional: Add notes and upload an image.
- Enter the space name.
- Click the ✔ to save, or X to cancel.
How to Edit or Delete a Space
- Hover over the row of the space you want to change.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the space name.

- Choose Edit or Delete.
- Edit a Space:
- Update details in the pop-up.
- Click Save Changes.
- Or click Delete to remove the space entirely.
- Update details in the pop-up.
- Delete a Space:
- Confirm by clicking Yes, Delete on the pop-up.
- Confirm by clicking Yes, Delete on the pop-up.
Tip: If your edits or additions do not appear immediately, refresh the page to view updates.
