Space
In Sho-Soft, a Space represents an individual room or area within a venue that can be booked for events. Spaces make it easier to manage availability, capacity, and scheduling within a larger venue.
Why Spaces Matter in Sho-Soft
-
Accurate Scheduling: Prevent double-bookings by assigning events to specific spaces.
-
Capacity Tracking: Manage each space’s size and maximum occupancy.
-
Clarity for Clients: Give clients a clear picture of which areas are available at your venue.
Note: Every venue is different — some have several spaces, while others may have just one.
Examples of Spaces
Example 1: Multiple Spaces
A venue named Woodsbury Center has two halls, a patio, and a ballroom. Each of these is created as a separate space under the Woodsbury Center venue profile in Sho-Soft. In this case, Woodsbury Center would have four spaces listed:
- Hall 1
- Hall 2
- Patio
- Ballroom
Example 2: Single Space
A venue named Northridge Gardens has one large outdoor garden. Since there’s only a single area available, the venue profile in Sho-Soft will include just one space:
- Outdoor Garden
